Since 1999, Cromwell Automotive has provided expert automotive care to the Central Connecticut community and beyond. Our roots trace back to a family legacy of automotive enthusiasm, inspired by a renowned local veterinarian whose rare Mercedes-Benz collection sparked a lasting passion for automotive excellence.

“I remember being a child looking at these cars and being mesmerized by their beauty,” recalls our founder, whose early exposure to fine automobiles shaped our company’s dedication to exceptional service.

Today, Cromwell Automotive combines over 25 years of hands-on experience with cutting-edge automotive technology, ensuring every customer receives outstanding service and expertise they can trust. We’ve expanded beyond automotive services to meet our community’s diverse needs, offering professional snow and ice removal products. Our latest addition of Bobcat grounds maintenance equipment further demonstrates our commitment to providing comprehensive solutions for both vehicle care and property maintenance.

From our humble beginnings in 1999 as a one-person operation, Cromwell Automotive has flourished into a powerhouse team of skilled professionals—and we continue to expand. Our growth led us to our current state-of-the-art facility at 263 Main St., where our ancillary offerings have successfully evolved from selling used cars to becoming specialists in Snow & Ice removal equipment and more
recently offering grounds maintenance equipment.

As a full-service automotive repair center, we proudly serve all makes and models, delivering everything from routine maintenance to complex repairs. Our comprehensive services include oil changes, brake work, steering and suspension repairs, and advanced diagnostic solutions for check engine lights. Our certifications as a AAA approved repair facility, NAPA Autocare Service Center and ASE Independent Service Center reflect our commitment to excellence, ensuring access to premium parts while maintaining cutting-edge expertise through continuous training in automotive electrical systems, engine performance, air conditioning, brakes, and diagnostic technology.
